The motu’s beach & ceremonial area is fully protected from the southerly winds (maraamu) that blow throughout the year especially during high season.
Upon your arrival on the motu you will be greeted by the Tahua (Tahitian priest) & welcomed with traditional music.
Thatched-roofed, local architecture, timber structures on the island suitable in the case of inclement weather add to the ambiance. There are, of course, appropriate sanitary facilities.
